Funktion und Aufgaben:

Manager/senior researcher for projects dealing with natural hazard and risk assessment, especially those within a multi-type environment.

Wissenschaftliche Interessen:

•    Development of multi-type hazard and risk assessment and mitigation tools and concepts.
•    Interpreting data and products from earth observing satellites, in particular temporal changes in the terrestrial gravity field observed by the GRACE gravity mission, and rainfall as measured by the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission, within the context of climate change studies.
•    Use of glacio-isostatic adjustment modelling tools and datasets for geodynamic problems (e.g., behaviour of past and current ice masses, effect of surface-load changes on volcanism, past and present-day sea-level change).
