On March 19 2015 the annual PhD Day will take place at GFZ. PhD students at GFZ will present their research from 9:00 am to 17:00 pm in the lecture hall and foyer of building H, Telegrafenberg Campus.

The PhD Day will start with an introduction by the current PhD representatives, followed by talks by Dr. Schelle, chief human resources officer, Prof. Dr. Schuh, chair of the International Scientific Council at GFZ, and Dr. Wittmann-Oelze, GFZ section Earth Surface Geochemistry. The PhD students will present their work in different categories: innovative talks (at 10:30, lecture hall), poster presentations (11:30 to 12:30 and 15:15 to 16:15, foyer), and EGU-talks (13:15, lecture hall). The PhD Day will end with an introduction of the new representatives and the award ceremony for the best contributions of the day.
