The Indonesion Island of Lombok lies in a region of severe Earthquake hazard. A detailed geomagnetic investigation of the island and adjacent areas from new ground surveys combined with aeromagnetic, marine and satellite magnetic data is aimed at an improved understanding of the geological and tectonical situation and processes.
