Function and Responsibilities:

Develop Explainable AI (XAI) Methods for Geoscience Applications

• Research Geoscientists' Explainability Needs: Understand geoscientists' specific explainability needs and challenges in Machine Learning applications.
• Develop New XAI Methods: Design and develop XAI methods that address the identified needs.
• Develop and Maintain ClarifAI Platform: Integrate the developed XAI methods into the ClarifAI system and maintain them to ensure continuous improvement and user support.
