Principal Investigator in projects related to the tectonics and active deformation of the Hellenic Subduction System in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Hikurangi subduction margin in New Zealand. 

Lecturer at Freie Universität (FU) of Berlin - School of Geological Sciences: since 2013 I have introduced and teach the postgraduate courses 'Earthquake Geology & Active Tectonics' and 'Paleoseismology'.
