  • Active tectonics with the focus on quantitative tectonic geomorphology and earthquake geology
  • Interaction of the subduction process and forearc tectonics along active continental margins
  • Fault displacement  rates on various time-scales (seconds – million  years)
  • Instrumental displacement rate monitoring (Creepmeters)
