  • Interplay of magma convection and hydrothermal circulation during ore formation
  • Seafloor mineral deposits (Submarine Massive Sulfides)
Numerical modelling of fluid flow (in porous media)
  • Hydrothermal processes in the oceanic lithosphere at MORs
  • Fluid circulation in geothermal systems (land-based)
Mechanical modelling (Visco-elasto-plastic deformation, Stokes flow)
  • Convective processes inside magma chambers
  • Tectonic evolution of Mid-ocean Ridges (seafloor spreading)
  • Feedbacks between tectonic processes (faulting, permeability, geometry) and fluid flow
