Funktion und Aufgaben:

    Post Doctoral Research Assistant

  • Set up and develop a new liquid cell transmission electron microscopy system at the GFZ.
  • Quantify molecular-scale reactions with special focus on nanoparticle formation, biomineralisation and biological surface reactions (with Tomasz Stawski and Joern Hoevelmann)
  • Collect and process complex high-resolution imaging and micro-spectroscopic data
  • Integrate high-resolution imaging results with theoretical and modeling results

Werdegang / Ausbildung:

2011 – 2016: Combined MSc and PhD in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Leeds (MSc)
Supervisors: Dr. Andrew Scott and Prof. Rik Brydson.
