Funktion und Aufgaben:
• Develop and conduct laboratory experiments at geothermal similar conditions (high pressure and temperature), including investigations on precipitation/dissolving and adsorption/desorption processes in aqueous solutions as well as their monitoring by several analytical methods
• Monitor geochemical parameters at geothermal sites across Europe (Germany, Netherlands, Denmark)
• Solid phase characterization of precipitates from geothermal sites
• Work in an interdisciplinary team with PhD students, postdocs, and staff both, at GFZ and within the partners of the EU project
Projekte:
GeoDat (BMU) - Experimental validation of thermodynamic data
PERFORM (EU) - Improving Geothermal System Performance through Collective Knowledge Building and Technology Development
