Wissenschaftliche Interessen:

I am a Geologist interested in kinematics, tectonics and geodynamics of continental rifts. I use data from numerical modeling, earthquake focal mechanism, paleomagnetism, GPS velocity vector and active faults to better understand deformation of lithospheric and crustal blocks. These researches are geared toward improving hazard models and resource explorations in the Main Ethiopian and Afar rifts.
