Since 01.10.2019: System engineer at DiGOS Potsdam GmbH

• System and software development for automated station operation
• Project management for the planning, development, integration and the deployment of the SLR station in Yebes Spain until April 2021, after that focus on the technical development of the telescope and the overall system
• Consulting and engineering support for various SLR projects

Sinec 01.11.2016: Scientist at the Georesesearch Center (GFZ) Potsdam

• Head of the Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR) station of the GFZ Potsdam and the analysis center where the data products (e.g. EOPs) are derived from orbit determination
  
• Operation, optimization, trouble shooting, maintenance and development of the SLR station and the analysis center
• Representation and contact partner of the station and the analysis center within the International Laser Ranging Service (ILRS)
• Elected governing board member of the ILRS as a representant of the EUROLAS network
• Research and development in SLR, automated station operation, analysis and monitoring of satellite prediction quality, orbit determination and parameter estimation as well as space debris
  
• Development of the GFZ Laser Retro Reflector (LRR) e.g. for the ACES or small scale satellites such as Cubesats
  
• Support for the IGOR receivers on the Tandem-X/Terrsar-X Mission
• Mission Assurance Manager for the Grace-FO Mission at GFZ

• Topic:Application of one-way laser ranging data from ILRS station to NASA's Lunar Recnnaissance Orbiter
• Succesfully defended on the 05.12.2016 with Magna Cum Laude to receive the title Dr.-Ing.
• Publication of research results in scientific journals and on internatinoal conferences

15.09.2008 – 13.03.2009: Internship at Airbus Astrium in Ottobrunn in the department Space Transportation
