Function and Responsibilities:

 I am a Ph.D. student in the field of geomicrobiology at GFZ with a scholarship from Potsdam University.

My Ph.D. thesis is about Identifying New Enzyme Candidates Using Targeted Cell-Sorting-Based Metagenomics (ZymeFinder).

Career:

I have over 7 years of work experience in the field of bio-based laboratory.

I worked as a research associate at a university in Turkey and I had co-founded a small firm about DNA isolation kits in Yildiz Technopark (YTÜ Technopark).

2014 – 2017 Doctorate (canceled, only course were taken), Bioengineering, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Yildiz Technical University, Turkey, GPA: 3,5.

2010 – 2012 Masters, Biochemistry, The Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Dokuz Eylül University, Turkey, GPA: 4,00
