Research Interests:

       • Fluid-induced seismicity (geothermal and hydrocarbon reservoirs, CO2 storage) 
  • Characterization of the stress field    
       • Reservoir geomechanics 
  • Fault mechanics of transform faults
       • Physics of the earthquake source 

       • Seismic vs aseismic deformation 
      
       • Interaction between shallow (brittle) and deep (ductile) processes

  • Induced seismicity at The Geysers geothermal field: Analysis of spatiotemporal variations in the seismicity and stress field related to fluid injection and extraction.
  • Helmholtz-Alberta Initiative (HAI): Analysis of induced seismicity related to COstorage and laboratory experiments on CO2 saturated samples.
  • Geophysical Observatory North Anatolian Fault (GONAF): Participation in management and field drilling work.
