Function and Responsibilities:

Post-Doctoral Researcher in the SECURE-Project ( ustainable D ployment and Conservation of Underground Reservoirs and Environment)

Research Interests:

Induced Seismicity, swarm and volcano seismology. Especially, the interaction of fluid, gas and rock as driving force and the resulting seismic source mechanism. Models for induced seismicity based on a physical-probabilistic approach

Career:

Since 2017   Post-Doctoral Researcher at University of Potsdam and GFZ Potsdam (Seismicity models for induced seismicity in the SECURE project)

2007 - 2009   Post-Doctoral Researcher at GFZ (Co-development of the seismic software package SeisComP3 in the framework of the Tsunami early warning systems GITEWS)

2002 - 2006   Research assistant at University of Potsdam (Fumarole temperature and the meteorological influence as parameter of volcanic activity, Analysis of ambient vibration data from Europe)

Education:

2008   PhD at University of Potsdam (Geophysics) "Temperaturmessungen von Fumarolengasen zur kontinuierlichen Überwachung vulkanischer Aktivität"

2001   Diploma thesis at University of Potsdam (Geophysics) "Investigations in multivariate correlations in volcanic monitoring parameters"
