Function and Responsibilities:

Exploration geologist in magmatic fields in East Java (Indonesia).


Research Interests:

Integrated exploration methods based on rock petrology and fluid chemistry in hidden geothemal magmatic fields.

Career:

2000-2006: Master degree in Geology/Mineralogy  at “La Sapienza University” Rome Italy.
2004: Semester exchange (Erasmus Program) at the University of Tübingen, Germany.
2006-2009: PhD at Deutsches GeoForschungsZentrum-Potsdam Germany. Title of the PhD Thesis: “Water in coesite and wadsleyite: quantification, incorporation mechanism and effect on the phase stability".
2010 until today: Research scientist (Post Doc) at GFZ Potsdam.

Education:

1999: Abroad exchange year in Midland high-school Midland, USA.
2001: Atmospheric science summer classes at UCLA, University of Los Angeles, USA
2004: Semester exchange (Erasmus Program) at the University of Tübingen, Germany.

Projects:

Prize as best outstanding student Paper at the AGU meeting Fall 2008 meeting:
“The 410-km discontinuity: water fractionation in wadsleyite and consequences on the olivine-wadsleyite phase boundary"
