Function and Responsibilities:

Postdoctoral researcher in Lithosphere Dynamics group (section 4.1), Deutsches GeoForschungsZentrum, Potsdam.

Research Interests:

My research aims to improve our comprehension on tectono-metamorphic, magmatic and hydrothermal processes occurring in subduction setting by combining field works and numerical modeling. By following this approach, I try to provide new natural observations, as well as physical constraints from numerical simulations, to build realistic geodynamic models.

Currently, I am interested by studying the long-term and short-term deformation recorded in high-pressure metamorphic rocks during their exhumation in fore-arc environment and by making the link with seismological, geodetic and geomorphological data. One of my main targets is the Miocene high-pressure/low-temperature metamorphic belt cropping out along the fast retreating Hellenic subduction zone (Crete and Peloponnese).
