GNSS IGS Analysis Center

Observation data and derived products for the global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) provided by the working unit GNSS IGS Analysis Center serve as input for thousand users world-wide in the field of Earth monitoring, navigation, timing, and various scientific and applications. We contributes by our activities significantly to the International GNSS Service (IGS) of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG).

GFZ is operating a global GNSS station network since the early 1990s to support scientific research activities as well as operational services for the European satellite system Galileo and various scientific campaigns. Based on operational processing we provide high accurate satellite orbit and clock products for GPS&GLONASS and all GNSS, respectively. We support Galileo as geodetic service provider and in the framework of the ESA member states initiative. In the course of scientific investigations we process GNSS data for IGS TIGA and GFZ observatories (like IPOC and DESERVE).

We operate the GNSS metadata platform SEMISYS and the GNSS coordinate results database. Our gfzrnx software is used worldwide to convert GNSS observations.
