Third Reprocessing Campaign of the International GNSS Service

The third reprocessing campaign of the International GNSS Service provides consistent orbit & clock products, station coordinates, and Earth rotation parameters based on the GPS data collected by the IGS global network since 1994. Figure 1 shows the selected station network for the GFZ reprocessing. For the first time, the reprocessing includes three systems (GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo). To ensure the highest accuracy and consistency the IERS2010 conventions is fully applied. Compared to previous reprocessing efforts the following models were updated:

  • (linear) mean pole for computing the rotational deformation (pole tide),
  • ocean loading model (FES2014b),
  • sub-daily EOP model (Desai and Sibois, 2016),
  • time-variable gravity field (GOCO6s)
  •  receiving antenna phase center corrections for all signals (igsR3_2077.atx).

Our reprocessed solutions will contribute to the IGS submission for the next realization of the International Terrestrial Reference System. The GFZ reprocessing products (coordinates, clocks, orbits, biases, troposphere delays, spacecraft attitude, and Earth rotation parameters) are available via CDDIS and ISDC:
