Natural Disasters Networking Platform NaDiNe – Helmholtz EOS

Natural Disasters Networking Platform within the Helmholtz Research Network "Integrated Earth Observing System" (Helmholtz EOS)

In NaDiNe, we develop concepts and prototypes for web-based services, to make scientific results efficiently available to various user groups. The following web services have been realized:

• Database for flood damage HOWAS 21

• Information brochure for private flood precaution measures

• Equator (Earthquake Data Collector – Equator, intern), a wiki-like content management system (CMS) for earthquake-events for collecting information from the World Wide Web.
