(a) Volcano eruptions


The Volcano Hazards team works with

  • Remote sensing methods: InSAR, photogrammetry, UAV techniques and computer vision
  • Field based techniques: GPS, thermal infrared and in situ probing, structural geolog
  • Modelling: Boundary Element, Finite Element, Discrete Element, Analytical and Laboratory Experimental methods are extensively used.

An inderdisciplinary working condition is given at the Volcano Hazards team, including geophysisists,, geologists, geodesists, physics and remote sensing scientist.
