ADCP QLiner2

 Specification:

  • direct measurement of flow velocity and depth
  • section by section
  • ultrasonic doppler principle
  • transducer frequency 1 MHz
  • depth 1.2 - 20m
  • current velocity up to 10 m/s
  • handheld PDA: Nomad (TimbaTec)
  • data transmission via Bluetooth

Application:

Device for discharge measurement in rivers, ditches and channels, called ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler). Stepwise vertical measurements of velocity distribution and water depth along the river profile. By means of the resulting cross profile area and the velocity profile discharge is calculated.
