GFZ German research centre for geo sciences

Section 1.2: Global Geomonitoring and Gravity Field

ISDC

ISDC's online service portal is an access point for diverse geoscientific geodata, its corresponding metadata, scientific documentation and software tools. The majority of the data and information, the portal currently offers to the public, are global geomonitoring products such as satellite orbit and Earth gravity field related data as well as geomagnetic and atmospheric data.

GravIS

The Gravity Information Service (GravIS) visualizes and describes Level-3 products based on the most recent GRACE and GRACE-FO gravity field release from GFZ. The products presented at GravIS are available for download at GFZ's Information System and Data Center (ISDC) for GRACE and GRACE-FO.

ICGEM

The "International Centre for Global Earth Models" (ICGEM) is established to make all global gravity field models of the Earth, which are provided as sets of spherical harmonic coefficients, available to the public. This covers the most recent models back to historical data. The spherical harmonic coefficients are available in a standardised self-explanatory format.

IGETS

IGETS is the International Geodynamics and Earth Tide Service of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG). The main objective of IGETS is to monitor temporal variations of the Earth gravity field through long‐term records from ground gravimeters, tiltmeters, strainmeters and other geodynamic sensors.
