The GFZ operates a magnetotelluric reference station. The reference station is located in an area that is only little disturbed by artificially generated electromagnetic signals. The data of the reference station can therefore be used to improve locally acquired magnetotelluric data in areas with higher electromagnetic noise levels. The time-series data are available since the year 2011.
