The Yakutsk Geomagnetic Observatory is run in co-operation by the Yu.G.Shafer Institute of Cosmophysical Research and Aronomy (IKFIA) and GFZ since the year 2007.
The geomagnetic field intensity and directions are continously recorded at the observatory since 1931.
The observatory is member of the INTERMAGNET program.
