We are pleased to welcome our new PhD student Jiarong Qing.

Jiarong will stay at GFZ for one year as a visiting PhD student. She received her Master's degree in Structural Geology from Sun Yat-sen University. Her project at GFZ focus on continental drift driven by subduction forces to explain the influence of subduction plate geometry and lithospheric structure.
