PD Dr. Heidi Kreibich was appointed Chair of Panta Rhei for the biennium of 2021-2023. Panta Rhei is a global decadal initiative of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS). The Panta Rhei initiative is dedicated to increasing our knowledge of interactions and feedbacks between hydrology and society. Research is focused on processes and drivers of change in the water cycle with a strong consideration of the interactions with the changing human system. Panta Rhei activities are undertaken in 32 working groups with a total of more than 400 members.
