Potsdam Summer School "Arctic in the Anthropocene"

19.06.2014: IASS, GFZ, AWI, PIK and the University of Potsdam will be jointly hosting the „Potsdam Summer School“ (PSS 2014) from June 23 to July 4, 2014. The aim of this international two-week summer school is to provide information on the causes and dynamics of climate change in the Arctic as well as its ecological, economic and social consequences, and to develop solutions within an interdisciplinary context.

Scientists from AWI, GFZ and PIK will cover the scientific groundwork for the program of courses during a three day sojourn at the Telegrafenberg from June 24 through to June 26 (House H).

GFZ scientists contributing to the Potsdam Summer School are Prof. Dr. Dirk Wagner, Dr. Jens Wickert, Dr. Andreas Groh, Dr. Torsten Sachs, Dr. Bernhard Steinberger, Dr. Irina Rogozhina, Dr. Volker Klemann and Dr. Uwe Schneider.
