From 2013 to 2015 he worked at Aarhus University, Denmark. Tomasz Stawski, previously University of Leeds, GB, starts on 1 May 2017 with his project NanoSiAl „Silica and alumina nanophases – the building blocks for the ground under our feet“ in the GFZ section Interface Geochemistry. Ina Neugebauer, section Climate Dynamics and Landscape Evolution, leaves the GFZ for her project IRONLAKE „Establishing stable IRON isotopes of laminated LAKE sediments as novel palaeoclimate proxy“on 2 June, going to the University of Geneva, Switzerland.

With an Individual Fellowship talented early-stage researchers are supported who hold a doctorate or have at least four years of research experience.
