7th Potsdamer Company Run a great success for the GFZ

18.06.2015|Potsdam: At yesterday’s 7th Potsdamer company run GFZ showed its sporty side with several top positionings. Mens team placed first in team classifications, women and mixed teams each placed second. Fastest runner for the GFZ and winner of the overall ranking was Tom Thurley, fastest GFZ-woman was Jennifer Weigt.

General participation was bigger than ever, much more than 2000 runners from 200 companies took part. From GFZ, 75 runners participated in the 4.8 kilometer run around Potsdamer Volkspark. Tom Thurley won the run in only 15:23 minutes, Jennifer Weigt run 19:36 minutes. About as fast were the female GFZ runners Simona Regenspurg, Marina Köhler, and Steffi Genderjahn, and the male GFZ runners Dietrich Stromeyer, Maximilian Voigt, and Hagen Pieper.
