The Symposium will start on Sunday, 21 June 2020, 4:00 p.m., with registration and icebreaker party.
Daily from June 22-24 two parallel lecture sessions are planned (depending on the number of registered lectures) and poster sessions.
The EMPG symposium took place for the first time in Nancy, France, in 1986. Since then the symposium has been organised approximately every two years in different countries. This year the symposium will take place in Germany for the 4th time.
International Scientists and PhD students from the fields of Mineralogy, Petrology, Crystallography, Depositology, and the organic and anorganic Geochemisty discuss new developments of experimental and analytical tools and methods.
GFZ supports this event financially and provides lecture rooms and technique for free.
