Geo.X invites early-carees scientists from all Geo.X institutions to join the Geo.X Hackathon "The challenge of +4 data:
Visualizing and comparing outputs from landscape evolution models".

When: 12 - 14 March 2018

Where: "Geodätenstand" of the Technical University Berlin, Main Building, Straße des 17. Juni 135, Berlin

The Geo.X Hackathon brings together early-career and established scientists to collaborate with established scholars on an idea-generation initiative, which will eventually lead to a functional software deliverable. The process will include an ideation process, prototyping of tools, as well as presentation challenge. The event will be technology-driven and target researchers from the field of geomorphology and geoinformatics that are skilled in software programming, GIS and visualization of geospatial data.

Researchers with a strong background in programming, geoinformatics, and visualization are invited to apply for participation:

The application contains a statement of motivation (~500 characters) and includes details about programming skills and languages.

Please note: The number of participants is limited!

Application deadline: December 20, 2017

Participants will be informed on January 8, 2018 about the decision.
