Internal Scientific Council

The Internal Scientific Council of GFZ ist intended to advise the Executive Board in matters of principle scientific importance.

Members of the Internal Scientific Council are the directors of the GFZ departments and three elected scientists:  

• Prof. Dr. M. Weber (Vorsitzender)
• Prof. Dr. G. Merz (stellvertretender Vorsitzender)
• Prof. Dr. B. Horsfield 
• Prof. Dr. H. Kaufmann
• Prof. Dr. O. Oncken

Elected members:  

• Dr. M. Korte
• Dr. B. Plessen
• Dr. R. Trumbull
