Geodynamic modelling labs
Our research involves the quantification of processes and property distributions related to deformation and mass fluxes. For that purpose we operate an integrated geodynamic modelling laboratory that unites a variety of tools and methodologies. Each of these has its particular strengths and capabilities for the solution of particular problems.
Our geodynamic lab provides access especially to university-based researchers who are most welcome.
Seismic modelling in order to understand the reflection seismic response of deformed systems with complex properties.
Geometric and kinematic analysis and modelling of deformation using various strain analysis techniques and section balancing in 2D and 3D.
Tectonic modelling in order to address the kinematics and dynamics of deforming systems at high spatial and temporal resolution.
