The transfer of technology at the GFZ is a cross-sectional task, which is performed by the scientific departments and supported by the TT-agent at the Scientific Executive Board of GFZ.

According to the specific project constellation specialized utilization strategies are developed and pursued.

The transfer management at the GFZ is guided by the economic requirements of fast realization of technological innovation; in addition long-term partnerships with the relevant industry groups are aimed at knowledge transfer.
