Ivan Koulakov spent in total more than four years in Potsdam working with the GFZ on development of tomographical algorithms and their realization for seismological data sets in Chile, Indonesia, Pamir, Middle East etc.

His scientific career is successfully combined with art activity. During the last five years he has made 15 personal shows in different galleries wordwide: Berlin, Paris, Nice, Monaco, New York, Seoul.
