Workshop Venue

The workshop will be held on the science campus “Albert Einstein” on the Telegrafenberg in Potsdam. This is a historic location in a park-like setting with several research facilities. The cities of Potsdam and Berlin provide excellent opportunities for excursions in the nearby area.

How to get there?

The Helmholtz Centre Potsdam - GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences has a good connection to the railway service and to the international airports of Berlin. From Berlin there is easy access by public transport. The "Albert Einstein" campus is just a 15-minute walk from the Potsdam Main Train Station.

Accomodation

We recommend Mercure Hotel Potsdam City *** (closest to the conference venue)

The meeting registration deadline is 19th February 2010.

There will be a meeting fee of  50 EUR (25 EUR for students) CASH which will be collected on the first day of the workshop.

Please inform Veronika Söllner immediately if you are NOT planning to participate in the Workshop Dinner in "Speckers Landhaus" on Thursday, March 11. The workshop dinner fee of 30 EUR (15 EUR for students) CASH will be also collected on the first day of the workshop. Please note that drinks are not included.

A receipt for the workshop fee as well as the workshop dinner will be provided.
