Geo.X Annual Meeting 2011
Future Cities: Challenges for the Earth Sciences
June, 20th 2011 | Am Neuen Palais, University of Potsdam
This year’s annual meeting will combine a scientific symposium on the subject of "Future Cities: Challenges for the Earth Sciences" with the Geo.X General Meeting (Schedule). Entirely within the spirit of Geo.X, this topic will bring together the different geo-disciplines with socially relevant issues, a matter that has also gained significance since the recent earthquake in Japan. This event will provide an opportunity for the scientific community from Berlin and Potsdam to come together for one day to procure an overview of the current scientific work of their colleagues and international guests (List of Guest Speakers).
