GFZ: Test Book Citation Index, Data Citation Index
We have current access to SCI (Science Citation Index) via the platform Web of Science. This includes Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI) and the JCR (Journal Citation Report).
Thomson-Reuters offers more databases and has offered a test access (until 7/15/13), especially to the new databases:
-
Book Citation Index (included in the standard search set, when you do a search in Web of Science)
-
Data Citation Index (http://is.gd/exPGv5 - or 'Select a database')
But the test includes more:
-
Essential Science Indicators (http://esi.webofknowledge.com/home.cgi)
-
Chinese Science Citation Index (http://is.gd/OEynfK)
-
Zoological Records (http://is.gd/4PNSyO)
Until the end of 2013 we have an additional test access to Scopus (http://www.scopus.com), a competitive product from Elsevier.
Please note: relevant for POF are only articles listed in SCI, but in POF 3 (2014 ff.) both SCI and Scopus will be relevant sources.
Feel free to ask us for more information (bib@gfz-potsdam.deGFZ: Testzugang Book Citation Index, Data Citation Index). We will offer information sessions on these databases.
