Micro Arctic

Horizon2020 Marie Skłodowska Curie Innovative Training Network “Microorganisms in Warming Arctic Environments - MicroArctic" (2016 - 2020)

MicroArctic trains the next generation of experts in microbiology and biogeochemistry to provide them with a comprehensive understanding of Arctic ecosystems and organisms, and to acquaint them with the factors having an impact on Arctic ecosystems.

MicroArctic aims at significantly advance our understanding of changes and adaptation in Arctic microbial communities and their links to weathering and biogeochemical element and nutrient cycling in fast warming Arctic settings.

Robin Wojcik, Micro Arctic PhD student in section 4.4, works on "Weathering and its role in carbon and nutrient cycling in Arctic settings".
